I got a phone call for a beauty session from a local Beaumont woman. She sells these wraps called ItWorks. She recently lost some weight and wanted to show how well the wraps worked for her. We spent some time chatting while her hair and makeup were done. She is super pleased with her new shape. Here are a few pics.

I think Mandy totally rocked these pics.

I love seeing the new babies that come to my studio. Its always a great treat to cuddle them and get the baby love out of my system. This young man was no exception. He was however a bit feisty as he peed on me not once but twice! While getting peed on is always a hazzard of my job I didnt expect to have it happen twice in one session. That goes to show you much always always be prepared for the enevitable even when you think it may not be…. Here is the sweetness of baby C

And this is what happened immediately after I got peed on. He really was not asleep just lying in wait to get me ….Again! Thank you Sara for bringing baby C along I enjoyed your company immensely.

Mother, Daughter Two Beauties | Beaumont Alberta Photographer

This week I had Trenda and Vongi come visit me. It had been some time since they had a mother daughter photoshoot. In fact Trenda said it was her wedding formals that they had last had a professional photo taken together. I was super excited to see all the changes of clothes they brought and the youthful vitality they both have.

They look gorgeous together both inside and out. This mother daughter team and the love they have for each other isnt measurable with thoughts or words its all in their interaction and expressions.

Gorgeous moments alone. Good times had. What a great day!

Winter Wedding | Edmonton Wedding Photography

This winter I had the opportunity to second shoot for my good friend Michel of Ampersand Grey. Every year I take the opportunity to second shoot with a few photographers to up my own experience level and to gain a different perspect or angle in my own portfolio and in life. Michael and Ericas wedding was no different. This is their story……

I got to spend a bit of time with Michael and his crew in the morning pre nuptual seen here.

Michael and Erica chose to do a sneak peek before the ceremony. This was so fun and allowed them to get over the butterflies early and have photos done while they were still fresh and the anticipation of the ceremony is still there.

With the first peek finished it was time to get the fun underway

This image of their shadows is what second shooting is all about for me. If I had of been first shooter I maybe would not have seen the shadow cast on the wall while they shared an intimate moment together

The SugarBowl is where Michael and Erica had their first date. They kindly let us in to grab a few shots for them.

Finally we finished the night with some sparklers….

Beaumont Alberta Photographer ~ Big Changes

Wow it has been some time since I have posted. I am still here I assure you. Over the holidays we sold our previous home and relocated to the other side of Beaumont. We lived in the old home for 10 yrs and came with nothing. 2 children later and boy do we have stuff! Its so nice to be settled down and back into the swing of things. So while the move took place I had some shooting time here and there. The clients I have had over the last few years have been wonderful and I look forward to new clients/friends over the coming years. Oh boy was it a busy weekend. So much so that I didnt get a chance to post my macro shots. I did a lot of shopping ( I wanna yell YEAH like in that Wally World commercial…giggle) and I managed to get some baking done as well as family time in the form of gingerbread beautification. So here all rolled into one is my weekend :0)

I got the idea in my head that it would be fun to make my own marshmallows. I knew they were easy. I had seen them done enough times in culinary school but I had no idea of the flavours I could create. I suspect i will be a marshmallow making fool by the end of the holidays. The kids are even trying to come up with new ideas and new inventions of flavours. Tonight after making these chocolate espresso flavoured ones I got the idea to make a new drink. An adult drink. So tonight happiness was found in a wine glass. Enjoy and let me know if you try to make the drink yourself
