Last week I had the pleasure of shooting this couples engagement session. The were a lot of fun and definitely their personalities shine through in all of their photos. Their upcoming wedding is this July. Be sure to check back near the end of the month to see pics from their hockey themed wedding.

We went to a ravine in Edmonton to shoot these. We were so excited to use a location that had some water. Well of course we get there and the beavers had built a dam so fast! The location was PERFECT the night before and bam 8 am the next day nothing but mud! Well the life of a photographer. If its not the weather hindering your projects its the beavers! So like anyone faced with a challenge you need to make due with what you’ve got. The dandelions turned into a beautiful field of flowers for a beautiful bride and groom.

And thats a good thing! I had the pleasure of shooting Darcy this past weekend and he was a trooper! He was totally willing and a great model. Darcy was looking for some photos of himself as well as a pic or two for his mom. I adore this first one of him in the truck. LOVE it! Looking good Darcy!
